About the role

The GTM Engineer is the technical force behind Verona’s commercial engine. You will turn customer conversations into working software: tailored demos that make the opportunity concrete, rapid prototypes that prove a difficult workflow can be transformed, and internal systems that help our team find and win the right customers.

You will sit across engineering, product, and sales, often moving from a discovery call to a working prototype in days. The best work in this role will not be disposable sales theater; it will reveal what customers need, create reusable delivery patterns, and accelerate the path from first conversation to production deployment.

What you’ll do

  • Build customer-specific demos that reflect the prospect’s actual data, workflow, constraints, and definition of value.
  • Turn discovery calls into working prototypes that help Verona and the customer test the hardest assumption early.
  • Own the technical narrative during evaluations, proofs of concept, and pilot scoping alongside sales and forward deployed engineers.
  • Create AI-native internal tools for account research, personalization, competitive intelligence, pipeline inspection, and follow-up.
  • Develop reusable reference applications, demo environments, and integration patterns that make future engagements faster and stronger.
  • Surface patterns from the market to sharpen Verona’s positioning, packaging, roadmap, and ideal customer profile.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to build polished, convincing prototypes on short timelines.
  • Hands-on fluency with LLM APIs, agent workflows, data pipelines, and modern application development.
  • The product instinct to identify the smallest technical demonstration that proves the most important customer claim.
  • Comfort leading technical conversations with enterprise buyers and translating between business requirements and system design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across engineering, sales, and executive audiences.
  • High agency, unusual resourcefulness, and a bias toward shipping before a process or specification is fully defined.

You might excel here if

  • Experience in solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, developer relations, technical sales, or an early-stage product role.
  • A portfolio of products, demos, automations, or side projects that shows both technical craft and an instinct for presentation.
  • Experience building AI-native workflows for account research, personalization, competitive intelligence, or sales operations.
  • Enough commercial judgment to understand qualification, deal dynamics, and what evidence helps a technical buyer move forward.

  • Generous health benefits
